Abstract: Symmetrical -stable distribution is used to express the amplitude non-Gaussian characteristics of the unstructured road spectrum. In the in-situ road spectrum collection implementation, the route length limitation and road surface diversity may decrease the spectrum accuracy. The moving block bootstrap confidence interval estimation method is adopted to estimate the interval of the stable distribution parameters. According to both the stable distribution random series generation theory and the simulation capability of road simulation test bench, the reconstructed spectrum is composed by the amplitude truncated stable distribution random series. The validity and practicality of proposed methods are verified by reconstructing the spectrum of an off-highway vehicle riding through a test ground. An effect time domain road spectrum reconstruction method is provided for the unstructured road simulation and virtual reliability test.
