Abstract: Appling this method to identify underwater moving noise sources, the principle of the acoustic holography method for the identification of moving noise sources is presented. In addition, the discrete expression of the reconstruction method has been systematically addressed. The theoretical formulation has been systematically addressed by employing a moving coordinate which has relative motion between the measurement coordinate and the hologram coordinate. The received signal considering the Doppler effect is used to holographic reconstruction. It demonstrates the idea of utilizing this method constructs the desired hologram and how to remove Doppler effect. The numerical simulations have been conducted and some rules for determining parameters are further discussed. It has been taken the influences of the measuring parameters into account sufficiently according to the practical conditions. At last, underwater acoustical holography experiments are carried out in anechoic pool with a line array of 12 hydrophones. The experimental results prove the validity of the method which used to the reconstruction of underwater moving sources. The significance is that this selection of parameters has an advantage over the reconstruction of underwater moving noise sources, which is valuable to the measuring and analysis of underwater moving sources.
