Abstract: Gripping or anchoring is a common constraint way in mechanical engineering and structure engineering, which restrict tension component on a place by means of friction. To study strength of component gripping part is important for structure working under normal states. According to gripping conditions in tension component working, the mechanics model of gripping part is set up which is based on the relations among the gripping pressure and character of friction, as well as geometry and sizes of gripping part under working condition. Based on the model and principles of equilibrium in friction limit state and strength and equi-strength of material the differential equations are derived which can be used for brittle and ductile materials. The different boundary conditions are discussed and solutions under gotten conditions are obtained .
