Abstract: The dynamic mechanics behaviors of the 304 stainless steel under service conditions are measured and explored. Through online measurement by X-ray diffraction, the stress distributions of the stainless steel board under the condition of simulated round hole defect and different loaded mode and magnitude, are examined. The relation between the stress distribution, loading mode and load magnitude is established. By using an independently designed and developed dynamic measurement system for the service behavior of metal plates, those results are obtained as follows. The stress distribution around the inner hole of the 304 stainless steel is in good agreement with the theoretical values. The mechanics measurement of the metal plates in service state is basically carried out, and this kind of measurement method can provide certain technique foundation for the development of omnidirectional measuring system.
