Dynamic Simulation of the Air-powered Swashplate Engine

Abstract: The air-powered swashplate engine is a new-style air-powered engine which is designed for special working conditions. In order to evaluate the performance of the air-powered swashplate engine, the dynamic model and the other models such as the load of the experiment system are built on the base of the kinematics and dynamic analysis of the main parts of the engine such as the pistons and links, etc. The simulation of the work process of the engine is realized by the use of the simulation program based on the dynamic model. The prototype engine is tested on the experiment system. Experiment results show that the design of the engine is feasible and the simulation model is correct. The modified simulation model can be used in the optimized design of the engine.
