SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ON ENERGY REGENERATION WITH HYDRAULIC MOTOR FOR HYBRID DRIVE EXCAVATOR

Abstract: Aimed at the hybrid excavators, an energy saving scheme with hydraulic motor regeneration for hydraulic actuators is put forward. The simulation model of hybrid hydraulic excavator with regeneration system is found, and on account of the model, the proportion of regeneration energy for each actuator and the energy saving effects are calculated. The test-bed of hybrid excavator for energy regeneration with hydraulic motor is con-structed, in virtue of the test-bed, investigation about the influences of energy regeneration on energy conversion effi-ciency and control performance are carried out. The results of experiment and simulation show that the energy saving scheme of energy regeneration with hydraulic motors and generator speed regulation for actuators is feasible in hydraulic excavator.
