Abstract: The research achievements of cam mechanisms are summarized in China since 1990, the recently published-articles are reviewed and reseach characteristics are introduced in six aspects, and the important research aspect of cam mechanisms in the future is put forward. The theoretical research level of Chinese cam mechanisms is in the world advaned level. In the meantime, there are larger gap compared with world advanced country in the aspects of manufacture and application research.
