Abstract: Motion behavior plays an important role in FBS conceptual design process model. Behavior is represented by displace, velocity, acceleration, angle displacement, angle velocity, angle acceleration, action force and parameter fuzzy coefficient. A series of rules are established for dividing the set of behaviors into subsets and evaluating the subsets. To create and search the optimum behavior structure, an behavior grouping approach based on the grouping rules, which is much easier to be realized by a computer, is proposed and is illustrated to be effective by an example.
