Abstract: Concept of environmental loading on green manu-facturing is systematically studied. 'In order to quantitatively assess effects of green manufacturing on ecologkal environment. The equivalent environment index (I), environmental factor (EF), and environmental loading (ELV) are clearly de-fined, respectively. The definition makes it possible to quantitatively assess materia! Manufacturing process, Finally, the environmental loading of some engineering materials in heat treatments are given out.
