Abstract: A new technique for plastic pressure machining scrubbing and rolling metal shaft is discussed. The characterstic of the technique is that: with a couple of model plane moving parallelly each other, the metal shaft is scrubbed and rolled, meanwhile, the precision machining for the shaft surface is realized. Based on the stress model of the shaft, the principle of scrubbing and rolling machining is explained and the machining method is developed.
