Abstract: The emergency braking load, which has not been shown on the finite element strength analysis of passenger car body until now, is discussed. A calculation of strength of passenger car body under the loads of bending, strong twisting and emergency braking is introduced. The conclusion of the calculation agrees well with the results of the reliability test on road. It shows: it is reasonable to take the various loads into consideration during strength analysis of passenger car body.
