Abstract: The non-linear characteristics of the vibration rod mill used for the preparation of ultra fine granular materials are investigated. It is proved that the influence of the stimulation and damping of the bulk steel rods on the machine body changes with time, and the collision mass model of the system is discussed, thereby the foundation for the system to be simulated and controlled is established.
