Abstract: According to the character of mechanism composition, the concept of generalized substructure is proposed and the model of component model systhesis for the time-varying vibration system of a flexible linkage, mechanism is derived, in which the coupling effects of rigid and elastic motion for the links and the character of the kinematic pairs are considered. This model not only has the same advantages as the finite element model, but also is very small in scale and suitable for the application in engineering.
