Abstract: By analyzing the contacting pattern on double enveloping worm gearing, we make a demand on selecting lubricating oil and set up evaluating method of lubricating performance of oil for double enveloping worm gear. The experiments on which several kinds of lubricating oils are used as test sample for the plane double enveloping worm gear are carried out, Some valuable conclusions are drawn.
