Abstract: To raise the precision and reliability of ultrasonic testing, multi-dimensional-ultrasonic transducers, which can be used to transmit or receive simultaneously Several of ultrasonic signals at one point, are developed. The construction, acoustical and electrical characteristics of those transducers as well as the application of them in the acoustic emission are investigated systematically in this paper.
