Abstract: Based on paper [1], this paper deduces the critical stability formula and its absolutely stability cutting criter ion of regenerating chatter, chatter without regenerating and specific regenerating chatter. The paper points out that Tobais formula and Tlusty formula are not correct, the research of k is not perfect and many mentions about k are not in correspendence with facts and experiments. The unity of cutting chatter and friction chatters According to the formula advanced in this paper, the generation of chatter has success full been forecasted. Thereofre the formula is useful for building CAM database.
