Abstract: This paper has sumed past and popular models of cutting system, pointed out their drawbacks and mistakes, given supplements and corrections. Based on theory analysis and test research, the paper advanced a new model and its transfer function. This function can deduce formulas about cutting residual depth and function group of criterion for the stability. So that the models of dynamics of cutting system are united.
