Abstract: Application of DCA gear to cold rolling mill with large scale is pressented in this paper, application of combined heringbone gear, non-key coupled hydraulic assembling and disassembling, multi-rows rolling bearing and other new technology are also presented herein with. It has been proved that application of the heat-treated hobbed DCA gear to cold rolling mill in Taiyuan Iron and Steel Corporation has shown great adventage since its starting up in 1984 and till now the equipment has been operating in good condition, improving function of the rolling mill and resulting in good economic. This technology has been passed by the technical appraisal session held by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry in Dec. 1986.
