Abstract: A simplified strength calculation method for shrunk on disk-drum type rotor with constant outer diameter is presented and some typical calculation results are analysed and summarized.The cause of bending of a gas turbine rotor has been found by this method, and this bending trouble has been avoided for the new rotor designed by this method even after a longtime operation with full rotation speed and full operating loading.
