Abstract: According to the conclusions of the literature(1)three cutting methods ,which are three variants combining with two parameters while the cutter number was selected previously ,for spiral bevel gear have been comparied.The article points out that the combenation is an ideal method because of profile curvature error ψ＝0～15°for any condetions .Account for the local bearing on tooth prorision shows that the best interval of spiral angle for the every method is following :ΔE－Δacombination for ψ＝25°～50°.
