Abstract: To study the evolution rule of carbody underneath suspended system vibration behavior under wheel wear, a rigid-flexible coupling dynamic model of high-speed EMUs is established considering the carbody elastic vibration. The influence of profile wear on vibration characteristic of carbody and its suspended equipment during one re-profile period is analyzed. The results show that wheel wear mainly effects of the lateral vibration of suspended system and has little influence on virtual vibration. The vibration of carbody and suspended equipment changes little during the first 50 thousand kilometers. With the growth of the railway running mileage, the vibration characteristics of carbody and suspended equipment continue deteriorates. At the point of 191 thousand kilometers, the acceleration amplitude can be twice of the new car. When the speed is less than 140 km/h, the wheel wear has little influence on vibration of the suspended system, and the influence increases with the speed raising. The influence of wheel profile wear on suspended system can be restrained by choosing a reasonable lateral suspended parameter and the range of the suitable lateral stiffness can be 0.7-1.5 MN/m.
