Abstract: In this paper the author deals with some turbine-cascade testing results received fronlow-speed two-dimensional cascade experimental research. The following problems are being investigated:1) The influence of air-stream turning angle or cascade reaction, profile geometric, cascade geometric and aerodynamic parameters on turbine-cascade profile loss coefficients; 2) The effects of above mentioned factors on exit angles of air-stream from cascades. Some comparison of experimental and calculated results is also given and some simple relations or approximate coefficients, which are useful for practical calculation of turbine stage performance, are obtained.Based on these results, the author breifly described some important principles about empirical design of low-speed turbine-cascade of profiles.
