ANALYSIS AND A NEW METHOD OF MECHANICAL STRUCTURE OPTIMAL PROBLEMS——GENERALIZED CONSTRAINED QUASI-NEWTON METHOD

Abstract: In this paper in view of the properties and requirements of mechanical structure optimal problems, a new method called Generalized Constrained Quasi-Newton Method is developed on the basis of the analysis of solving clues and formats of methods and effects of three efficient nonlinear programming methods. It is shown by typical problems and computation of practical mechanical structures that the new method is a efficient optimal method for mechanical structures. The method has the advantages of better stability, fewer iteration and rapid convergence etc.
