Abstract: Under conditions loaded in static and dynamic states, the method of statical demarcation and measurement of gear drive efficiency is analyzed and the mathematical formula of the gear drive efficiency under different load are provided. The method is also proved and analyzed on the basis of the experimental data of the common involute gear.
