Abstract: The difference between swamp bulldozer and the track-type bulldozer in common use is only that swamp bulldozer uses wider triangle track plate and its center distance is larger than that of track-type bulldozer. The information from consumers shows that the track link of swamp bulldozer is often broken in its early service. This paper analyses the random loads on the track link of the two types of bulldozer and constrasts them with each other. The conclusion provides fundamental basis for the analyses of the damage cause and improvemance of the product.
