Abstract: The prominent characteristics of current manufacturing are digitalization network. La order to transform the traditional manufacturing of rapid tooling(RT) industries into the remote collaborative manufacturing based on internet, and solve the problem that service bureaus could not take fill! Advantage of existing the equipment of RE, RP, RT and the users could not attain timely the RP&M service, web-based lele-manufacturing service system of RT is researched and developed. The workflow and configuration of RT manufacturing system based on RE/CAD/RP/RT are introduced. In addition, the function design and realization of key technologies for tele-manufacturing service system are expounded in detail. Finally, the web platform is constructed. The system supported by WWW integrates RE, CAD, CAE, RP, RT and so on, establishes the platform of information, E-commerce and manufacturing service for remote users, service bureaus and virtual enterprises.
