Abstract: This Paper describes etching the graphite in an Fe-C alloy by using methods of profound etching in solution,thermo-oxideion etching,ionic etching and ionic bombarding profound etching.The topography and structure of graphite spheres and vermicular graphite has been investigated by SEM. This work describes the topography of the central zone of spheroidal graphite and a new model for the structure of spheroidal graphite.
