Abstract: Computational fluid dynamics knowledge and Fluent software are applied to overcome the jammed malignant accidents. The grid partition and boundary conditions of the 3D model of spiral centrifuge are set by fluent software and the proper solution methods is used to get the relationships between the velocity distributions and the structure characteristic parameters, what’s more, the motion regulations of the solid particles is obtained by the simulations. The results show that the increasing of the drum rotate speed is not conducive to the flow of the axial but the lagged values increase. The rotational speed of 50 rad/s is the best situation by comparison and the setting velocity reaches the highest when the solid particles density is 17%. Particles sedimentation time is consistent with the theoretical calculation by comparison, which is the basic for the further research and explore.
