Abstract: The method is discussed for analyzing and calculating the shock and vibration propagation in layered viscoelastic subsoil of forging and press workshop. A report is made of measurements and analysis for propagation of vibration caused by forging hammer. Mechanical press and hot forging press, suggesting that the formula for calculating attenuation of ground vibration caused by horizontal exciting force be revised.
