Abstract: The kernels and key factors of agile manufacturing are analyzed. The frame expression forms of its agility are presented. The authors consider that the essential conditions to achieve agility are mainly four aspects: flexible equipment, information system, human factors, and management organization. The forms to realize agile manufacturing should be changed in accordance with different industries and different enterprises. Some main forms are presented, and its application in different industry fields is also researched and analyzed. The corresponding suggestion is presented.
