Abstract: This paper discusses the modelling technique of directly identifying machine tool dynamic parameters by utilizing generalized least square method. On the base of relative exciting test the physical parameters of dynamic model of cylindrical grinder Type M131W are identified. The dynamic model of the machine is established and its effect to the actual machine is checked.
