Abstract: In the Paper, the method of coine fomularization for the displacement analysis of spatial mechanisms is proposed taking into consideration the structural characteristics of spatial mechanisms. With the aid of a few cosine formulas, the spatial mechanisms can be analyzed conveniently, hence the analysis of displacement is simplified. In this paper the displacement analysis of the RCCC four-link spatial mechanism and the RRRCR six-link spatial mechanism is taken as an example.
