Abstract: The traditional hydraulic buffering valve for vehicle shift mainly relies on the interaction of the throttling orifice and the spring to control the pressure of the oil in the clutch. For the low adjustment flexibility and poor adaptability, it is the first time to propose the use of 2D digital technology in the field of vehicle shift. 2D digital buffering valve is designed. The thrust generated by the 2D digital pilot valve is used to drive the movement of the main spool, and then the pressure of the valve outlet oil is controlled. The structure and working principle of 2D digital buffering valve are introduced. A mathematical model of 2D digital buffering valve is established. Matlab and AMESim are used to solve the model, and simulation analysis and experimental study is carried out finally. The research indicates:Its linearity is 9.25%, and its hysteresis is 0.106. The pressure the 2D digital buffering valve outputed can satisfy the requirement pressure within the clutch during the shift. And the control accuracy reaches 10.52%. The simulation results of the buffer characteristics are consistent with the experimental results, and the correctness of the simulation model is verified.
