Abstract: From the view on the competition of welding industry, welding flexibility and integration have become a certain tendency of welding automation. Online teaching programming is not only relatively low efficiency and product line occupation, but also very difficult to be integrated with other systems. Together with workpiece machining and assemble precision, presently, these technical problems have frustrated the robots being applied in welding. Off-line programming can make welding robot a very flexible system that is easy to be used and be integrated in the whole manufacturing process. Therefore, according to the fact of robot application, a robot-welding off-line programming system is analyzed and designed. The system facility and practicability were well considered when designing the system.
