OPERATING STATES ANALYSIS AND ELECTROMAGNETIC DESIGN OF HALF-BRIDGE COMMUTATING CIRCUIT OF THYISTOR ARC WELDING INVERTER

Abstract: Under the theory foundation built up recently of RLCU-type capacitor discharge with nonzero-current and nonzero-voltage initial condition, every typical operating state and its corresponding excited magnetic level are analyzed. In the concrete, reasonable design state is determined. By the T-type equivalent circuit in design state, and solving its corresponding circuit equations, the varying rules of related electric and magnetic variates are gotten, the basic formulas for accurate and reasonable engineering design are provided, and favour condition for developing and improving thyristor arc welding inverter is produced.
