ANALYSIS AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE COLD ROLLING WITH THE AXES OF THE TWO CONICAL ROLLERS IN DIFFERENT PLANES OF SPIRAL FLIGHT

Abstract: The cold rolling with the axes of the two conical rollers in different planes is so far in the world the most advanced process for the forming of spiral flights. Theoretical analysis of the deformation, kinematics and mechanics of the rolling process are carried out. On the basis of this one, the effect of adjusting the parameters of rolling process (the adjustment of the pressure parameter S1, the adjustment of the offset value S2, the adjustment of the nip height h) on the dimensions of products (spiral radius R and pitch T) are studied. This provides for realizing scientific adjustment of rolling machine.
