SPECTRAL DISTRIBUTION CHARACTERISTICS OF WELDING ARC

Abstract

Abstract: On the basic of experiments, the testing results of welding arc cross-spectrum distribution of various arc cross-section along wavelength window are presented. The spectrum structures and the differences between TIG and MIG welding arc are analysed. The corresponding relations between metal transfer and welding arc spectrum structure are pointed out especially. Meanwhile, the potential applications have been also proposed.
