Abstract: Authors systematically researched the testing and evaluation of molding sand quality, designed expert system of molding sand management (MSES) by means of artifacial theory and Fuzy method. MSES includes the database, prediction of sand and casting problems, and self-learning technique. The application of MSES to First Automobile Works showed reliable.
