Abstract: On the basis of theoretical research and industrial experiment on the mold oscillation parameters of common continous slab caster, The control mode of synchronization between casting speed and oscillation parameters is presented for high casting speed in thin slab casting. The mode makes it possible to obtain optimum negative slipping time and the negative slipping ratio needed with law mold oscillation frequency under the condition of high casting speed in thin slab casting.
