Abstract: Stability control of internal flow in compressor is one of the most difficult problems which is needed to solved urgently, especially in transonic compressor with complex flow. In order to realize the effective control in actual compressor, the self-recirculating injection was chosen as control method, the experiment has been performed in a transonic compressor test rig. The structure of suction port and injector are designed first, then the effect on stall margin improvement (SMI) and efficiency with different suction angle and injected yaw angle is investigated. And the stability enhancement mechanism of front injection was also analyzed. The experimental results demonstrated that the self-recirculating injection can improve the stall margin effectively, the SMI of 8%-15% can be obtained, at the same time, the peak efficiency can be also enhanced a little. And the front injection of self-recirculating injection can also influence the unsteady tip leakage flow to improve the stall margin.
