ENCODING AND CONSTRAINT PROBLEMS OF GENETIC ALGORITHMS FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF FUZZY VIBRATION CONTROL

Abstract: When the genetic nlgorithms ure.used to optimize the fuzzy logic controller, which is used for active vibratioti suppression, the encoding method is important for the results, According to the requirement of vibration controL an encading method is presented for the membership functions of fuzzy logic control. Furthermore. The constraintproblem is considered and solved. The numeric result shows that this encoding method can generate good individuals suitable for the requirement of active vibration control, and the amending algorithm for the constraint problem is simple and effective.
