Abstract:

The lubricant friction characteristic is of great importance to the manual transmission synchronizer. In order to evaluate this influence, a test-bed is established. The composition and working principle of test-bed are described. The key subsystems include driving force and transmission subsystem, shift subsystem, motion control subsystem and data acquisition subsystem. After the test-bed is established, the characteristic curves of transmission shift and the adjustable scope of working condition parameters have been analyzed and measured, as well as performance evaluation of the test-bed. The results indicate that the test-bed can simulate the real working condition of transmission synchronizer, and the experimental results are of favorable repeatability and differentiation. Furthermore, the friction characteristics of manual transmission lubricant could be evaluated.
