Abstract: The numerical solution for the pressure distribution on the thick oil film formed between the intermediate ring and planet gear and the altitude angle and the eccentricity ration obtained by the finite difference method solving the two-dimensional Reyonlds equation. The expression of oil film stiffness is derived, and the methods determing optimum radial clearance and calculating load sharing coefficient are given. The performance of load sharing mechanism with oil film floated and the application of one are analyzed.
