Abstract: In order to analyze the influence of the different car body on the vehicle system dynamics, the dynamics of different stiffness container flat are analyzed with the finite element method software ANSYS and the dynamics software SIMPACK based on the flexible multi-body dynamics. The results show that the overall stiffness of the vehicle body is improved relative to the car body of bound beam structure, and is reflected in the vertical bending mode and the torsional bending mode of the vehicle body. The 1st and 2nd vertical bending stiffness influence the vertical ride quality of middle position and head position greatly. When the vertical stiffness is bigger, the vertical ride quality gets better. The curve negotiating index is impacted by the car body torsional stiffness greatly but no influence by the vertical stiffness. When the torsional stiffness is bigger, the curve negotiating gets worse. Therefore, the stiffness property should be considered in the flexible multi-body dynamics model and the stiffness should be compromised in the design of the container flat according to the use and line conditions.
