EQUIVALENT LINEARZATION APPROXIMATE METHOD OF RESPONSE COMPUTATION OF A TWO DEGREE OF FREEDOM HYSTERETIC VIBRATION SYSTEM UNDER SINUSOIDAL EXCITATION

Abstract: The response computation problem of a two degree of freedom bilinear hysteretic vibration system with viscous damping under sinusoidal excitation is studied. And the equivalent linearization approximate method is extended to a two-degree-of-freedom vibration system having hysteretic restoring force component, the equality in computation precision of equivalent linearization approximate method, K-B method and Fourier series expanding method in fist order approximation meaning is also proved.
