RESEARCH ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A VIRTUAL PRECISION MACHINING SYSTEM

Abstract: The architecture of a virtual precision machining system is designed and built. Its core issues, such as modeling and simulation are highlighted. An application of the system to the machining and testing of an aspheric mould insert is described.
