NEW METHOD FOR STUDYING THERMAL CHARACTERISTIC OF PRECISION MACHINE

Abstract: Based on the thermal susceptible theory of precision machine, a heat excitation device with microcomputer is projected and manufactured, further, a new method is presented in order to study thermal characteristic of precision machine. The new method of artificial heat excitation can be employed effectively, quickly and non-destructively in researching the function of different internal heat sources, and identifying the thermal weak link which affects working accuracy in machine system. Therefore, the heat excitation technique can provide the scientific foundation improving weak links or realizing temperature control.
