Abstract: Aiming at promoting the reconstruction of the transplanting bone in mandible defect case, the mechanotransduction and the functional response of bone to mechanical strain are applied in the research of the flexible mandible titanium substitute. The FEA model of hole-like structure and gyre-like structure mandible substitute are established and analyzed separately. The single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) in the evaluation of osteogenesis-promoting ability of flexible mandible titanium tray is conducted. The calculation results are in good agreement with the experimental results. The osteogenesis metabolism of the transplanting bone in the flexible structure of gyre-like mandible substitute is much more active and healthy. It shows that the customized flexible mandible titanium substitute obviously has better ability in promotion of bone reconstruction.
