Abstract: Measuring polytetrafluoroethene(PTFE) fabric composites friction and wear performance with the change of the temperature trend are carried out on high-speed tribo-tester to analysis of the temperature on the influence of friction and wear performance. The results show that friction coefficient have significantly reduced trend from 30 ℃ temperature began to rise. Between 65-210 ℃, friction coefficient is in stable stage. When the temperature reaches 210 ℃, friction coefficient is beginning to rise as the temperature rising. Through the SEM photographs of the wear debris analyzed suggests that wear debris components in the main is large fiber in high temperature, while low temperature conditions, wear debris mainly is the tiny particles. The wear obviously effect by temperature, temperature over 200 ℃, when a sharp increase of PTFE fabric composites wear. To ensure the stability of PTFE fabric composites friction and wear performance, 200 ℃ is the limit temperature of dynamic monitoring friction temperature.
