Measuring Method of Concrete Pump Discharge Based on Pumping Pressure

Abstract: The characteristics of current measuring methods of concrete pump discharge are analyzed, and the deficiency in measuring accuracy of these methods is pointed out. The mathematic model of concrete pump discharge is established on the basis of working principle of the concrete pump, and it is pointed out that the key of the measurement of concrete pump discharge is the real-time pumping efficiency factor. The factors which effect the measurement of concrete pump discharge and the relationship between the material cylinder and the master cylinder are analyzed, and the measuring method based on pumping pressure is proposed. The actual discharge of concrete pump is calculated by directly measuring the pressure in the master cylinder of concrete pump, analyzing the tendency of the pressure change in the master cylinder, and computing the real-time pumping efficiency factor. The experiment indicates that the measuring method based on pumping pressure has relatively high measuring accuracy.
